older 238 repair manual

can some one please send me a repair manual for an older 238 thx

I just got an older 238 that had been under the bench for years. cleaned it up got compression needs a kill switch and the lever that hold the throttle on for starts. any diagrams or specs would help.

Ask and Thou Shall Recieve.  Got one myself going back on bench next week.  Had scored piston.  Been lookin gfor one for 2 yrs.  It's in the mailbox (I hope).  Wasn't willing to pay $105 for a new piston.   When you find out what you need PM me I may be able to help.  I do HUSKY!!  I got the file too large Gremlin.  Here is a web page to download the file.     http://www.husqvarna.com/us/forest/support/download-manuals/?query=238+se&types=I&brands=

There are no repair manuals on that site, just part lists (from 1972 up to current), and user manuals for the "newer" models. ;)

The closest repair manual I have found is a 1997 one that cover the 242xp/42/246, if memory serves.
