No logic on this Echo either.  I have the saw back together and all functios seem to work, but I have not tried to start it.  I was convinced that the triggger end hooked somewhere on the trigger, but it seeems to work just fine on the front side of the trigger. Now I am conserned that the fiel lines are shot,so I will figure out what size they are and replace.  There is a line that comes out of the top of the carburetor and exits on the under side of the saw.  What is its function? It has a filter on the end.  My originoral problem was that the saw would start, but die on full throttle.  This site has helped a great deal,
