2065 lacking power
« on: February 17, 2012, 07:09:54 pm »
It gets bogged down in everything now, it's not a good starter, and feels a bit low on compression, or could it be the clutch ? can i adjust that ?

a new cylinder and piston rings would be an expensive fix.

what should i look for to find the problem ?

Carb could be out of adjustment? Not enough fuel= low power. Change fuel filter. Fuel line. Clean the air filter. New spark plug. Piston and ring are only about $25-$30. Aftermarket cylinder, piston & ring is about $100. If your clutch is not working right. Your saw would be reving and your chain wont be turning. No adjustment. Just buy new clutch.
