 If cutting from the top is different than cutting from the bottom check the boot between the carb and cylinder, if it has a crack on top it would open up on the up cut.   Steve

Thanks Steve.  I will check it again.  I gave everything in there a good once over but it won't hurt to ck! Maybe it's just my imagination...  Need to play with the h/l a bit & see what that does.  Haven't touched them yet.    Just not enough hours in the day & getting ready to head out moose hunting for 9 days next Friday.

OK, been busy moose hunting & getting the place ready for winter so haven't had much chance to play with the saw but I think I found the "bogging" problem.  When cutting from the bottom the rear grip moves away the carb (due to anti-vibe flex),moving the throttle linkage & reducing throttle opening.
