Isn't the first time this has been done. Seem to come across about one a year.

Thanks! I figured if I messed up the bearings or cases, what the heck, not out alot of $ or a very valuable saw. I doubt I would ever sell it.

I didn't figure it was the first time this had been done. But I've never seen pictures of the mixed crankcase halves.
Maybe that's because anyone who's done it was to embarrassed to post pictures  I don't care!
