Is there any difference in the Jonsered 111 and Jonsered 111S top end kits?  I know where there is some new OEM cylinder and piston kits and want to know if there was anything different between the 111 and 111S.

Well this is the first post I have made here andI have no idea how to post pics.  I took a look at some of my 111 and 111S saws and I can see no real difference in the jugs.  As we all know Jred could not settle on the number of rings to use so they came with one or two rings but the pistons still have two grooves.  The top covers are different between the 111 and the 111S.  I talked with a fine gentleman last night that said he thought the 111 had teh decomp out the side which does make perfect sense as I have one that is drilled for it but still has teh decomp out the top.  When I figure out the picture deal I will post some comparison shots.

Welcome Bil and Thanks for sharing info on 111.

If you have a outside host for pics like photobucket it is free and easy or you can use the space here but the pics have to be downsized to under 100kb to do so.

If still having troubles you can email them to me and I will post them for you.
