There were no corresponding Huskys to this family of Jonnys. They were also the last "exclusive" models, along with the 2095.

They have a strong Partner look to them, but you know better than anybody that there wasn't a Partner version either. But I wouldn't be surprised if the lead engineer on that chassis came with the Partner aquisition.  :)

Spike is of course right, but it actually was Husky that made those saws.

That was the case with many Jonsered and Partner saws that Husky didn't have a version of, after some time around 1990.

Ahhhh, it's not entirely accurate to say that they were made by Husky. At that time, all of the saws, including the Huskys themselves, were made by Electrolux Motors AB. The Jonnys could not be said to be "made by Husky" until the corporate split a couple of years ago when Husky became the true parent organization of the other brands.

The exact wording of the Jonsered (UK) document I have the info from is "produced
in Huskvarna plant
", which is quite specific imo.

The document was dated early 1991. It listed changes made trough 1990, to every Jonsered model made at that time, except the Poulan made ones.

Jonsered, Husqvarna and partner was at the time controlled by Elux. They called the shots then as they do now. Ownership has not changed, just names and structure. Investor use Husqvarna name, but as company Husqvarna as it was is gone and will never be again.
They moved assembly from Partille to Husqvarna. I know a couple guy's that moved with it...

From what I am told, there was other products that shared/rotated/used same parts like crank, P&C, clutch. I don't know what that could be...

man i hate it when people post mis-information.  >:(
jonsered saws were never built in any plant. ever. they were created in a cave upon mount scie'a'chaine, to be adored and praised by all. and feared by few.
didn't you read the book? ???
 :)

I think we should be able to bicker about this for another few pages before we get bored.
