I think I seen some of those on the 62- series also.  I have all the parts & half disassembled - hoping to finish it this weekend.

Lots of Jonsereds had those in the 1970s, but my 1970 vintage 621 didn't - or rather doesn't, as I didn't own it from the outset (my FIL did). The material it is made from fits the time though, so it isn't a much newer replacement, and the design fits the oil cap..

ah troll correct as usual.  Here is another example, I had seen some on ebay, must be the 630's I seen them on such as this example.  I don't know could be an old aftermarket replacement.  :)

I find I have even less time to mess with projects now days too. All setting on the back burners.

Never can get to my own stuff right now with everyone fired up after winter to get cutting.

I'm in a similar boat Kevin. Time to mess with any of my own stuff at the store won't be happening for months. My own projects get done in my workshop at home. Similar things obviously, but completely different to be working on my own stuff with music playing, a couple of beers and NO phone calls or people walking in. And, if your own projects don't get done, nobody complains. LOL

I don't get much chance to work on my own stuff either.   More saws belonging to the park and friends keep coming in.  One leaves and three come in.  Not going to get any of my projects done any time soon......
-Aaron

For older saws:
Tune the H side so that it 4-strokes (burbles) at WOT unloaded and just cleans up when under load.
When you lift cutting load, the saw should immediately revert to 4-stroking.  Fine tune the transition point for the wood you're cutting.

One leaves and three come in.

That sounds mighty familiar.

Sorry guys. I don't have spare time either. I had a deal on some roundtoit's but of course deal fell through. They are under high demand everyone is looking to get roundtoit's

If any one finds a pile off them let me know.
