All torn down. Rings were rusted to the cylinder, reason for feeling locked up. Exhaust side scored good and 2 spots on the ext cylinder bevel looks like it may have had something go through. Just looking at crank and rod bearings dont see any missing.

Gilardoni cylinder. Cant find any tell tell for piston make.

@jacob j. does this all sound right so far?

Looking up bar mount on this saw. Big SMS (009) taking that means D009 large husky?  Has a what looks like 37" Tsumura 3/8 063 on it.

update I just used a bar selector online and it came back to D009.

Yes, it should be D009. Husky was quite quick to change the larger Jonsereds from D024 to D009, after they took over production in 1987.

1997 right on the black tag. Plus starts out with a 7 with all the numbers on tag.

IIRC I have a NOS 2095 PC.  If needed I'll check my drawer to be sure.

Those are strong saws. I've used a 2094 and it was probably stronger than a 394. They were built mainly for milling and are heavier than the other 90cc offerings from stihl and husky.

This one is going to need split possibly.  Not holding mix in crankcase with my redneck way of checking without top.  Not seeing where mix is going either.  :o
Thinking maybe crankcase gasket leak possibility but to where yet I dont know.  :-\

I never seen no crap like this, just checked it again. Half the mix out of the crankcase area now, just say 14hrs later, but cant find where it went.

I did look in the oil and gas tanks too.  ???
