I know different countries have different octane ratings.  Thats why I didnt bring it up.

Your IP comes back to Florida. How are you getting 85 octane?

Here in U.S. min 89 IMO and lot of saws say min 91 right in their manuals.
87 here I was told by a old dolmar dealer creates to much heat. Even though folks still run it.

The high is about 1 1/4 out, the low is 1 3/16 out. I have had two different mechanics look at them an I have them perfectly where they need to be. I also found out I had two small of a fuel filter and I changed it to a bigger one and changed fuel to 91 octain and a Huskavarna 2 cycle oil witch is for 2 1/2 gallons. So I mixed 2 cycle oil ta 2 gallons for a little extra oil mix. This is what my buddy runs and our saws love it. P. S. I live in Pocatello IDAHO.

Test for spark after it dies to rule out ignition issues.  when it dies, does it quit cleanly or sputter and run rough? Adam

Went back and 're- read this.  Try running it again til it stops, then check for spark. I'm still thinking it's a fuel issue, vent issue. Run the Saw with the vent removed or crack the tank after the Saw dies and see if it will run again.

Last night I had ken at kens world look at my saw and he said everything was good until he started putting it back to gether and he noticed that the gasket in between the carb and intake is the wrong one. He said it was to small cause it was not covering a little part of the fuel intake so it was leaking gas and causing it to not run properly. So today I will find out if it is the problem or not. I will let everyoneknow if it is the problem or not. Thank you all for the help iI greatly appreciate it very much.

Im wondering if that gasket was blocking the impulse to the fuel pump side of the carb?  By using the choke you would pull only enough fuel from the tank for a couple minutes run time.  There would be a little more fuel coming from pressure in the lines from shaking the tank, but surely not enough for a couple cuts.
