1.  Check needle lever height too low hard to start, too high floods.
2. Vent line is on right side of tank shouldhavea little canister looking thing on it.  Line from cyl. base provides vac/press for pumpin carb.
3.  Should be able to blow through pickup line.
Attached an IPL it should help you.  We were posting together haha.
