While cleaning up that saw with air and plastic bristle brush. Come across this. Never seen echo oem line split like that.
Just so you folks are aware.

Saw is down in the for sale section here and my CR group FB.

Being I could never bring myself to cut with it with the NOS clutch cover. NOS champ decal installed. NOS top cover. Plus a flocked oem 670 air filter.  These will only be sold after saw is sold or sold with saw as a package. Price can be worked out.

I just put the heat tape on both top covers to help next owners out.

Just saving from jonsered group.

Older 670 on the top, impulse through the boot. Newer on the bottom, impulse line on top of carb.

Something about being in a hurry to get the early 670 in west coast guys hands and they were sent out with the impulse through boot.
Later ones fixed the issue they were having with that.
Just what I read on 670’s by a guy on west coast. 🤷🏼‍♂️
