The later consumer Partners I have seen are either made by Poulan or at the old MaC. Europe factory in Italy, not by Jonsered or Husky. The last Pro Partners (P7700 etc) were made at the Husky factory, as have most Jonsereds since at least 1990.   

The very cheapest Huskys and Jonsereds have also been made at the Poulan factory since abbout 1990.

I have learned a bit more since posting that:

All Swedish Jonsereds chainsaw production was moved the the Partner factory in 1979.
Husky started making Jonsereds in 1982 (630 and 670) - then all production at the Partner factory (Partner and Jonsered) was moved to the Husky factory in 1987. It has remained there ever since.
