2258 (555) is the best "farm" saw on the market in my humble opinion.  I ran a 455 for a long time as a truck or tractor saw. Same as a 2255. Our Farm Stores sell the stihl brand and TSC sells the lower cost Jonsered saws as I said before. Still think the 2252 & 2258 hit the target as they are really "Pro" level saws with mid range price points. I've had that conversation a few times with folks. The Husqvarna / Jonsered mid range / farm saw's are detuned pro saws vs. the plastic mid range saws being essentially home owner saws with more displacement. That concept articulated in a way understood by most farmers  makes sense and an extra $100 amortized over the life of a typical farm saw is also something a farmer gets. Having said that, the metal vs. plastic argument get murky when the potential user of that saw runs it, just sets it in a barn for a while.... on a concrete floor....which eats magnesium. THOSE guys would do better with a 455! (2255) or Stihl 310-390 plastic saw.
