Two great posts Magnus!

Also what you say about the loyalty of some Jonsered owners is the same over here. They will not buy a Husky. I can tell them they are essentially the same, but they'll say no they are not. Even happens with some Stihl guys. Now and then someone will be unhappy with Stihl or maybe the Stihl dealer and say they want to try something different. They will look at the Jonsereds, and say "I'm not buying a Husky!" It's comical to watch this.

But like you said, it will ultimately be determined by the sales numbers. If the numbers are strong enough to justify it, HVA will continue to build the saws.

Thats right. That is what logic say and what you, me and thousands with us hope.

Lets just hope that Elux/HVA think the same so they don't think like they did with Partner, Dimas (Now Husqvarna) and a bunch of other brands they swallowed.

I prefer the handles on the jonsereds myself. I hope they do continue to make them.

Of all the saws I've turned a wrench on over the years only 3 have been J-reds .2 60 cc jobs ,a 630 and another plus a 49 cc machine .I liked them .They were just never a major player in these parts for some reason .

Throwing you a curve.

Just wondering. Since husky bought redmax and is still using some of it's saws and trimmers, blowers just relabeled in orange.

Can I still get redmax parts though husky for redmax saws they didnt continue in their own line up?

As I was told:
Redmax/Zenoah still have what they did prior purchase. I am not sure if you can order stuff thru HVA US, I doubt it, but I think they can here for the models built after it was bought. Best is to just ask around I guess...
Redmax/Zenoah is still active as brand and will be for a bit more. Komatsu however is out. It is gone as it was and now new company part of Elux/HVA. Same as the rest of the brands.
