Looking for a used piston. That is still usable.

I just buy the Meteor pistons. They are reasonably priced. I've never had any trouble with one.

I've not been re-using pistons that didn't have the original machining marks on them all around.

Will have to look in to meteor. I am thinking of selling it. Do you think for resale it would be better with oem or aftermarket ? My experience with aftermarket is I have not been real pleased with aftermarket in the past was not near the quaility as oem. Those where also NWP big bore kits.

Meteor approaches OEM in quality. I've been using Meteor as replacements in several saws.

There are a couple fitments where people consider the Meteor to be heavier than OEM.

Meteor is as nice as oem on most pistons. Never had a problem with any of them out of 20-30.

Thanks guys for your help. Sounds like the meteor pistons are good stuff. You can close this now. I went ahead a got an oem piston. In the future I am going to give meteor a shot. Where do you all get them from HL SUPPLY or NORTHWOOD SAW ?
