Hahaha...this 272 is still basically factory brand new and the cylinder has never been removed.
I bought it about 5 years ago from a tree work custoner of mine. His BIL bought it brand new in Jan.1994 (I got the original bill of sale). Then about a week or 2 later his BIL died of natural causes. So then the saw was left to him.
Every spring for 20 years he put some fresh mix in it and idled it for 5 minutes. Never had a bar and chain on it.
So I buy it 5 years ago and it didn't take me long to put it into some wood for the first time.
Only bucked up some clean hardwood with it as I was doing my tree removals with my 562XP.  Enjoyed bucking with that 272 so much that I put about 5 tanks through it to date. Piston ring isn't even wore in yet.
I upgraded to a OEM HD air filter a couple of years ago. Ordered the kit right from my Husky dealer along with soft rubber mounts to replace the hard mounts in it. But never did swap them out.Still lots of OEM parts available through the Husky dealer.

I haven't advertised this 272 locally yet but thought I'd throw it on here first.
I can count on the back of my hand  the trees I cut with it and they weren't very big because I had a 16" Husky b/c on it,
I just put the 20" and dogs on yesterday to have it ready for resale.

Was thinking any Canadians who were thinking of dropping CDN$ 1,356 at their dealer for a new 372XP-20".....might find CDN$ 800 more attractive for a this classic.

Here at Manitoba Husqvarna dealers $1356= 1170+ 30 setup+ 156 taxes.
$556 savings.
I'll pay the shipping across Canada. Don't know about the US due to the latest NAFTA news.

If I was a collector type I would own it. It just needs to find the right home.
