Chainsaw Repair

I do not need a 272, I DO not need a 272, I DO NOT need another 272.  Dang that thing is pretty!  I repeat I DO NOT NEED OR WANT ANOTHER 272!

Hahaha...this 272 is still basically factory brand new and the cylinder has never been removed.
I bought it about 5 years ago from a tree work custoner of mine. His BIL bought it brand new in Jan.1994 (I got the original bill of sale). Then about a week or 2 later his BIL died of natural causes. So then the saw was left to him.
Every spring for 20 years he put some fresh mix in it and idled it for 5 minutes. Never had a bar and chain on it.
So I buy it 5 years ago and it didn't take me long to put it into some wood for the first time.
Only bucked up some clean hardwood with it as I was doing my tree removals with my 562XP.  Enjoyed bucking with that 272 so much that I put about 5 tanks through it to date. Piston ring isn't even wore in yet.
I upgraded to a OEM HD air filter a couple of years ago. Ordered the kit right from my Husky dealer along with soft rubber mounts to replace the hard mounts in it. But never did swap them out.Still lots of OEM parts available through the Husky dealer.
