Woodsported Stihl MS261
Ed ported this saw in the fall of 2012, it's a non CM MS261

It's my stepdads saw, he's cut cut 30-40 face cord of wood with it.
He's 70 now and doesn't need such a big saw anymore.

Set up for 3/8 chain

It starts, idles, runs, oil without issue
Nothing broken, well cared for.

Asking $500 or best offer
Shipping extra buyer pays actual shipping cost.
Paypal is preferred payment method.

Yup that's me.
I started a landscaping company, and got married this past year, trying to start a family, and buy a house.
Been a busy year and half or so.

Good to see you about.

So no more at the stihl shop?

Enjoy life right now and really slow down when the family grows. it all goes by so fast.

Cale could you check something for me or if someone else knows. A guy in my CR group swears a easy start 251 recoil set up works on the 261.

Just thinking of my dad that is 76. I know I hooked him up with easy start 180 I he like that. But his bigger saw 54cc 3300 has a 460 rescue handle on it to help him.

Stihl at my parents shop, but can always use more money.

The starter you'd need would be one off a MS291C-BEQ not sure if you'd need a special flywheel
like most of the easy starts have or if it'd mate up to the standard flywheel.  The IPL doesn't make it very clear.
