Poulan 5020 20"
« on: November 22, 2013, 05:34:53 pm »
Poulan 5020.  This saw is still like new and only starting ( I think 5th tank now). The 20" 3/8 70dl b+c never used. Will sale for $150 plus UPS shipping. Just not getting used around (with all the saws on hand) here beside testing with when out with other saws in it's CC size.

Havent ran it since posting last si still just starting on 5th tank.

If you want pics with the new 20" b+c it came with let me know. Never used them yet.

Was bought new for testing out only. Runs great IMO, just to many saws I grab before it, like 65cc with 16"  ;D

Kevin, I was a bit confused by the HVA crown in the first few pictures but now see it was for comparison purposes.

The interior of every molded part of the Poulan 5020 has the Husqvarna crown cast into it as Husqvarna owns the Poulan brand name.

Even the plastic in the first few photos looked orange to me, but could just be the lighting.

It was the lighting. My Husqvarna 545 pictured next to it is detailed in another thread. The 545 is only there for size comparison.

At first before having the saws on hand it was thought that the two saws would be closely related but other than both being strato and made by Husqvarna, there is no interchange between the two.

The 5020 is the cousin IMO to the Husqvarna 450.  Husky 450 has different plastics and cylinder as far as I can tell from looking up stuff.  450 has removal transfers, 5020 dont.

The husky in pics here is not a 450 it was a 545. Didnt have a 450 on hand at the time for comparison only pics.

The 5020 has husky badges all over it. Those pics were inside the 5020 poulan.
