Sure its the gear and not a oiler? I had a oiler quit pumping.

The ends of the worm gear that fit into the clutch drum are either broken off or worn away.   Thanks for showing the pic Kevin.

Typically, after long term use, the the tips wings of the worm, where they engage the clutch drum notches, wear away.

Roger try calling these folks. I ran the number through jonsered dealer. Just maybe, since it dont show NLA like other parts on their list.  Worth a shot calling.

If they have them see how many in stock. Thanks. Might want to set some back myself.

Thats why I was saying better call. We know how that works down the road waiting.
