« on: March 08, 2014, 09:08:12 am »
I need a couple of the long ones with a female spade on one end and the brass cylinder on the other. PM me if you have any.

No, it is the long one that goes from coil to on/off switch.

It appears that this is an 'early' version of the 028. In thus case it uses the SEM coil with the kill wire molded in. It looks like the plug on wire will not do it. Unless some one knows another answer. The SEM coil used is worth more than the saw.

That is it! I found the fittings at McMaster Carr but don't have the original to measure so don't know what to order from them. Guess I will buy the one on ebay.

Finally felt like walking to the barn again and look what I found in the 084 stuff.  ;D  Not even cut on the end like I thought.  So how long does it need to be for the 028?

Kevin, that will do, what do you want for it? Kevin, on second thought, another member (Mark3885) mailed me one today that had been cut at the spade connector. I needed the opposite end with the brass barrel. Since yours is complete, hang onto it! In order to repair this saw I would have to cut it, the early SEM coil on the saw has the wire molded in so need to splice, no need to ruin a factory wire!
