Hi Dave, nice to meet you here! Nice to hear that you have the same experience. Did not know the difference, glad if you tell some about it here, or should I read the shop manual again?! lol.

Chy, this is my 47A...a little bit different to your 47.
Had been sitting with water in tank for some time so there was a lot of corrosion in the fuel system but all is good now.

Fantastic view Dave, yours seems to have a tad bigger tank than 47 doesn't she?
Chy

p.s. And the shroud on her top, I mean the square one with logo on the tank, seems like an air-filter cover? but still I see a air-filter-knob below the tank...

Chy, you are correct, flat air filter sits under that top square cover.
Button under rear corner of tank is fuel primer.
knob under primer is fast idle screw.

Dave,showing the two in contrast.

Perhaps I might be almost forgetting if mine has this idle adjusting screw on that position, but what I remember is this screw on my 47 is a air filter open-close screw....

Inside the carburetor.
Fuel filters are their elaborate works!

The construction of this carburetor is fun, may be obsolete but unique in its fuel-air-mixture valve.
The first pic below shows this "fuel-air-mixture valve" closed,
the second pic shows it being kept open.
