Ok, got the fuel line replace with the Oregon 3/32 x 3/16 bulk line...worked perfect for that leak ! Yeah, after bench testing the saw, I came back to several minutes later to discover fuel still puddl'ing in the carb cavity !!!  Well, wait til dark and let's see where this sheen of fuel is coming from. The fuel was coming from the throttle shaft so I then knew the metering needle was not sealing off. Removed carb and disassembled. I,ve never worked on an SDC carb so here is what I found ...the last person to clean the carb, which he didn't put a kit in it cause the leaf valves on the diaphragm were shriveled up, but he did not engage the notch of the metering diaphragm into the notch of the hinge ! He just laid it on top....he got the other side of the hinge into the needle...so...it was a half a%% job ! Put a kit and she is good to go ! I love the sound at idle ! Thanks for the help guy's !!!!

Phil
