Ok, new parts arrived, and I assembled the saw.  I had a phone mishap midweek which took down all the pics I had taken during disassembly (I had the phone backed up recently, just not recently enough to include those pics lol).  Anyways, managed to remember where everything went and I got it back together without any parts left over.  I didn't have spark at first, but I adjusted the pickup (dunno proper name-- it is inside that plastic housing under the fly) so it was just touching the crank.  Had spark after that.  Is that the way it is supposed to be -- just touching the crank, or should it actually have some tension on it?

Also this little black plastic disc with an eccentric bump on it was hanging out loose inside the oil tank.  It just fell out when I removed the cover.  Where is it supposed to go?  btw in case anybody wonders, the fins in the back ground are tracking fins attached to an S&S Mastercraft ski boat.  I included a pic of the saw assembled as well :)

edit: thought of another question: is the chain drive sprocket supposed to be able to slide in and out slightly on the drive splines?  Chain and bar not installed of course.  I didn't notice how it was before disassembly :(  Mine does slide in and out on the splines.  If it's not supposed to do that, what did I do wrong?

edit edit: I fired it up today on 32:1.  It runs great.  The high idle problem and falling on its face under throttle that started the tear down is now gone.  it runs like it should.
