About a turn and a half out each .

Now if it's got a Zama M1-M7 you'll have time finding a carb kit for it .If it has a Walbro MDC 16 you might find one .I have no idea which one it is .

Thanks it worked great with those settings. I only have to hold the trigger a tiny bit to keep it idle but I'm running it with a plug that looks to be 20 years old. I only let it run for a few seconds because its night time but I'm sure I can tweak it a little better after it warms up for the first time.

now it only takes a few pulls to start and after that is starts on the first pull.

Stay tuned for a complete pic tomorrow

There's a bumper screw for the idle setting of the butterfly .Run it out until out stays running without spinning the chain .If you can't get it most likely the low speed jet needs a partial turn out to supply more fuel . The low speed jet is towards the engine ,high speed is towards the breather /filter

FWIW basic carb tuning methods can be gleened off the internet by searching out either Zama,Tillotson or Walbros web sites .I might add with few exceptions basically all diaphragm carbs work the same as far as basic tuning .

and sometimes even after everything is proper on these, the screws can be all over the place, weather or not there is an airleak.

Actually I've never seen a mini where the screws got loose as a goose .Then again as I've said before I never have really seen a mini that was actually worn out either .

My wifes cousin has a bad back so he can't run a saw with much weight .He has a 140 that I've managed to keep running for maybe 10 years but it became a nuisance .Well I felt sorry for him and landed a Poulan  s-25 for a song from flea bay .He's never since used that mini .

can't blame him one bit :D the poulan is far and above a nicer saw to run.

thats the 'idle' adjustment he's refering to. if you don;t have 3 screws coming out of the case, your missing that one.

It's shown in the IPL  and also #24 and #12 in this . Carb choke, choke plate, throttle plate, flap and whatever else it's called.  http://store.chainsawr.com/blogs/tuning-and-repairs/1126042-adjustment-and-tuning-of-a-chainsaw-carburetor
