Welcome Randy Mac

I'm going to try the IMG code (4th link on PB) to see if your pics is larger.

I think if I used clickable thumbnails they will be bigger.

Thanks for the welcome!

It looks like another PM850 is on it's way in a month or so. ;)

Used to run Mac,s when I worked for Brooks Scanlon in Bend. If I found an old 80 or 81 where could I get cylinder and piston. Any after market suppliers?

Cylinders and pistons for the 81 cc Macs there is no after market I know of .

Quite frankly to rebuild one in my opinion a person would be better off to find either an sp 81,early 850 or something rather than  a later model 805 or 850 .As much as I like McCulloch to tell the truth the later models just were not worth a pinch of coon chit as far as quality .

They had a terrible problem of the chrome delaminating on the later ones .Old Bob Mac went off to buy London bridge and the board of directors drove the McCulloch name right into the ground .Damned shame . >:(

I read that some have put a sleeve in a sp80,81 cylinder. How does that compare to stock in power and rpm's? Is there anyone who will do it for some one else?
