I tried to get a picture of the tag but it is to blurry to read.  I'm trying to get the info from the guy who has it.  The closest pic I could find was of a 2-10.

According to my micro fitche a 2-10 is a right hand start using a "bull frog" carb and no decomp .

Strangely enough though a later model ,1972  the super 2-10 A had a decomp ,left hand start and a Walbro SDC carb . Info from the big black dealers book of IPL's .So now it's remains an unsolved mystery as to what that thing is .--the plot thickens --

Not fleabay but an auction house I can drive to.  The saw is a 600036D serial 12-23554.  If I searched correctly it is a Pro Mac 60.

Yep that's the correct numbers for a PM 60 .Another variation of the "10" series design being 62 cc .

I've never operated one but being about 1/2 cubic inch larger than a 10-10 it should be a fairly good cutter if tuned right .

I ended up with a 10-10 and the Pro Mac 60 for $85.00.  The pro Mac started 5th pull but the outer part of the muffler is missing and oh my is it loud.  The 10-10 I had to tease with a little gas down the carb but it seems to run good also.  Is the Pro Mac muffler common to othere saws?

You have about 3-4 different mufflers that fit on the smaller of the 10 series .The ones used on the 700 are the best .Rather than have a square transition where they come out of the exhaust port they have some curvature. These end with a rather large plate front cover which originally had a baffle plate .

In looking at the IPL of a pm 60 it does have that type muffler but it also  has a pressure relief cover .This thing is supposed to relieve the pressure by opening a flapper valve .Kind of a nutty idea they came up with to quite them down I suppose .Some of the 700's had them and some just a cover with a bunch of holes in it .Being McCulloch though you never really know if somebody changed things because of such interchangeability of parts .

Other than flea bay ,Scott of http://store.chainsawr.com/ might have one .

Interesting on the parts interchange.  There is one on Ebay now and the serial number is about 200 different and that one has a chain brake.
