Yup, it looks like that.  So far all I have done is haul it home. No time yet to play with it.  It seams there are 4 different 250's, any guess's on which one this is??

Only speculation on my part but with that short button where the choke should be I'd guess the later model with  the infamous Walbro MAC flat back . They made a 250 for a long while .

Yes that is indeed the flat back .Now in spite of how much of a pain the butt they are if everything is good they aren't a bad carb .

Problem being they have a diaphragm that looks like it belongs on a small motorcycle ,I mean huge .I think that guy with Sugar creek supply might have the rebuild kits for them .They aren't cheap though because almost noone makes them any more .

The diaphragm is made of buna -n impregnated cloth which over the years will get hard as carb board .Exeption being in some cases if it's sat long enough and ran on old non ethanol gas with 16 to 1 oil it seems to have preserved them .I've heard but never tried soaking them in brake fluid to limber them up .If that works I really can't say .

Say it looks like it's missing the rubber boot that seals out the dust around the carb adjustment screws .Don't run that thing without it or duct taping over the hole else that thing will kill itself eating dust .

Oh say I took the liberty of looking up the pricing on a flatback rebuild kit .It's a tad high but only about half of what they get on flea bay .About 26 bucks .
