Mac 7-10
« on: April 06, 2019, 07:25:25 am »
@Al Smith

Guy lives just west of you near Van Wert.  I know him good guy.

Mac 710 posted in chainsaw repair group I started years back   =   John 10 hrs
Does anyone have any interest in this 7-10 before it goes to the bay? Took it on trade from a guy that says it runs good. All I know is that it fires up, seems to run good, compression feels good and oiler works good. There is a piece broke off the back of the air filter cover and the air filter looks almost new. Seems to be a pretty nice vintage 70cc Mac. I have not cut with it and the bar isn't worth shipping so it went to the scrap pile. Looking to get 150.00 plus the ride.

I didn't see this at the time.I was probably visiting my main squeeze -so to speak .I'm not interested although a 7-10 is a good saw .The only diff I could see between it and the 700 is the 7-10 has a points ignition but being McCulloch those are pretty dependable .
