I'm pretty sure mine is actually 32cc and the A/V doner saw was really 38cc - however they are both early saws, and I recall seeing somewhere that replacement parts were only available in 38cc.  So maybe they figured out what Poulan did that it wasn't cost effective to make several displacements so close.

The oil pump is under the flywheel, but I did not take it apart as mine worked fine.  The pump is driven by a worm gear concentric with the crank, but the gear spins freely on the crank - there is a coil spring between the flywheel and the worm which drives it but acts like a clutch.

I'm done fiddle farting with these things. They are just not worth putting any money into for me to resell. I have $15 and $20 in them already.

The AV version says 35cc but 38cc on sticker,  needs carb or a complete carb kit rebuild for the walbro IMO. Plus the oiler dont work and I'm not digging in to see.

The 2.0 non-av one ran but pulled the zama to test on the AV one. The throttle shaft broke when removing. Also stole the plastic choke lever for AV.

Both carbs are in plastic bags. Shelving them for parts unless someone else is interested in them.  Trades or just want to break even.

That's a shame - you might run into the right parts eventually.  Mine is a joy to use now with A/V and the minor mods I did and a 12" bar.  It's perfect for small jobs and will easily pull that bar in anything.  I like the feel and it will sometimes start in 1 pull cold.
