How can you tell?   Maybe by 2.0 or 2.1  on the saw itself.

early models 2.1 cu. in. (34.4 cc)
late models 2.0 cu. in. (32.8 cc)

Forgot just how much these things weighed and vibrated for such a small saw.

Great thread on rebuilding the mini mac 110 by brokenbudget.  http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/mcculloch/mini-mac-110-refresh/msg17228/#msg17228

I'll toss the dang things before I ever go that deep in one.  WTG BB.

I worked for a Mac dealer, I remember them well and not with fondness.

The guy that gave me that Mac had a half dozen of them. He was a trash man and he got them out of the trash.

Now you know why you have it.

They are a real pain to work on .You have to de-shell them to do about anything .No middle road on these things they either run fairly well or they don't run at all .Carb kits for the little Zama are getting real hard to find .

On  back up  duties Jim Thanks.
Glad a found the echo with AV though.  I cant even get my dad to take this one off my hands.
He tried to give me the mac 3818 I gave him for back up to back up few years ago too.  Told him I had no use for the darn things either.

Well most vibration came from the LP3|8 chain the original mini macs used .250 and it was smooth but a pain to sharpen and as much as some hate them gee they sold well and heaps of them around
I am a idiot so my pics disappeared.
