As I've said before many or most of them I have found had the original McCulloch embosed chain still on them .That speaks volumes.

Yep.  Somewhere in one of my boxes of crap in the garage I have a like-new engine from a 110-130 saw.  Buddy gave it to me after his BIL had ran it one day and then put it up with 1/2 tank of gas in it.............................15 or 20 years ago.   Carb gummed up and corroded to ****.  Fuel tank gummed up and ruined.  I stripped it down and gave parts from it (and that yeller case) to a few guys that run the little bastards.  Dunno where the engine disappeared to.  Don't really care.....

Actually the engine design wasn't bad .Carb on one side exhaust on the other .Kind of like a reed valve only two tunnels instead of three .The rest of it was just plain junk .

Tree trimmers would buy them and Homie xl 2's for under 100 bucks .Run them a season  sometimes two until they died then buy another .

I used the 110 to tackle sensation lilac roots the other day. No more roots even below ground. :)

Another casualty of the last 2 winters.   :'(
