Old post but figured I'd put my two cents in. I picked up one a week ago, person said it was a runner. It was, few pulls with choke and one off. Idled fine, it wants to be warmed up before worked though. Manual and auto oiler didn't work. Didn't want to make this a project saw so I fumbled around with disassembly. Man, no fret, these things are really simple. They are almost begging to be taken apart. Probably should be to, mine had a ton of chips and oil in all sorts of paces. My oil problems weren't the typical (thanks Al I will keep the kerosene tip in my head for future issues) fouled up pump, but simply that someone put too much sealant on the oil tank and plugged the discharge up. Cylinder still has hone marks BTW. Used it yesterday on some hardwood and I have to say, its a runner! With its construction, ease of disassembly and good power it might just be my new favorite. People who worry about weight will not like it!
