Talking to original owner that bought this saw new.  He said it had original b+c on it. Went out and confirmed mcculloch 370 labeled chain.

Al the 555 was traded into me.

There were several different 10-series fuel caps.  They are all interchangeable between saws in the series.  They can all have the duckbill valve replaced with varying degrees of ease/difficulty depending on the particular cap design.  Homelite 69451 valve (still available from Stens and Oregon) will work with a little reaming of the hole it seats in.

Idle speed screw from any non-AV 10-series with an external idle speed adjustment (some had the adjustment at the carb) will work.  The later non-AV 10-series saws (Pro 10-10, PM10-10, PM10-10S, 7-10A, PM700, PM55, PM555, etc) all shared just about all chassis parts.  Their differences lie in badging and sometimes internal engine parts (pistons/cylinders) and carbs.

The PM55 and PM555 were later 57cc 10-series saws with a comp release.  They share most (but not all) parts with a PM10-10S (which is also 57cc).  The 'S' model has a different cylinder with more aggressive porting.  No 'straight' 10-10 (PM10-10, Pro 10-10, 10-10A, etc) were 57cc.  They were all 54cc without a comp release.

Thank You Al, received the cap and idle screw today.

Good news.  Idles like a charm now.  Manual oiler only?  Works great though.

Bad news was from my Doc today and the saw was ringing my ears when blipping  it  :o. Guess missing a diffuser type deal I remember being on the 805. So at least something good today.

Pics uploading will update when done.
