Chainsaw Repair

The ProMac 105 is a non-AV saw (while the SuperPro 105 has AV).  It's basically the final version of the 795 and 795L (which were earlier non-AV direct drive 103cc saws that look like a 797).  Mac didn't sell many PM105's here in the US.  Don't know about the Aus. market.

The PM105 was somewhat of an oddball mix of some of the features of the AV saws, and some of the features of the older non AV saws.  The PM105 and SP105 both used the same engine assembly (89265).  Just a totally different saw built around it in each case.

The PM105 had a LH starter (like the 125's, the SP105, and the 795L) instead of the original 795's RH starter. 

Also had a chromed bore (like the SP105 and the SP125C) while the 795 and 795L had steel liners.





First one I ever seen was got from a local scrap yard I just got the saw back complete and in running order only really needed a starter assy and fan housing
