Pro Mac 72
« on: October 03, 2021, 10:32:42 pm »
I found a Pro Mac in the pile of abandoned saws in my store. It bust have come in around 1995 - 2000 when I had just opened shop and there was no internet or groups like Chainsawrepair.
I had a look at it and I think as of now its only the starter parts that are needed. Are parts still available for this saw?

Looks like pawls used in poulan and stihl. Maybe check those over there.

I will check IPL here if anything.

Is that the 70cc one made in Italy like ours was?   http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.nsf/ed1d619968136da688256af40002b8f7/a8ef1c7a814a524988256c3b0010d588?OpenDocument

It does look similar to the one on Mike Acres site. Mine has a red button on top, which mus be a decomp valve. The starter was all what was wrong with it because the owner did mention that he and his helper were using a rope wound on the flywheel to start it.
