Well quite frankly in owning both a 700 and a Titan 70 I'd take the 700 .The Titan 70 runs at higher RPMS but it doesn't have the low end pulling power of the old horizontal cylinder 700 .

Some of the 10-10s' vibrated so much after about 5 minutes your hands go numb .Oddly I never had that problem with a 700 for some reason .My only complaint if ran hard it hot weather some times the 700 didn't want to start so well after a refuel .How the Titan 70 would do I have no idea because I haven't used mine that much .

It'sa nice enough saw but I have better ones colored orange and white that do a better job so it's more or less a shelf queen .

I prefer running my 7-10A and PM700 over a Titan 70 as well.

Oh say a few months ago I finally found the proper fuel cap for it .Good ole Bryce had one .I had used a modified Husqvarna cap up until  then .Now it's completely McCulloch including the chain which is hanging on a nail some place .I haven't used the 24" it came with nor that chain since I got it .Then too I doubt I've put a half hours run time on it .

If it were all beat up I'd mod it .However since it's in such nice  shape it will remain stock. Some things it's just better that way as I see it .

Some day I would like to make a cut or 2 with it when time allows for us both.  Just to see for myself how they were.

;D I'll have to see if I can get it started first .I haven't used it in a couple of years and quite honestly really not too many of the others .

I'm going to work 8 hour days for a while instead of 12's so maybe I can get caught up .More dead trees, ash ya know plus a few hickorys for some unknown reason.First however is a small mountain of firewood already cut which should have been split and stacked 3-4 years ago .Mostly oak but danged if it doesn't have some rot .Oh well ya snooze ya lose .

I do not.  Ran one at a GTG though.  Wasn't my thing....

I'll just have to settle for running Al's 70 someday.  The one out your way never panned out to get shipped.

I think they are pretty rare to find .Most likely by the time they came on the market McCulloch was already in the death spiral .I think the auction of the tooling etc was in '98 .That was it,no more ,just a blurb in history .
