That does look like the one, but out of stock.  I have 2 of these things so I guess for now I will make 1 good one out of the good parts and get the coil at a later date. I see one on Ebay but that one is a little much with shipping.

I guess Monday was not a good day for working on my current mold project so then what to work on??  Power Mac 6!  I took the coil off my older model and put it on this saw, rebuilt the carb also and put her back together and set it down.  Today at lunch I put in some gas & oil, primed the carb and 2 pulls later it was running.  It will even sit and idle for a while so after a few times of running and tuning I think it will be fine.

I realize that everyone doesn't have this stuff around and it's kinda expensive but if you have K&N air filters on ANYTHING you may also have the cleaner and oil.  I just spray the cleaner on, wait 5 minutes and wash it out. Air dry. it's made for removing filter oil and dirt, so it's the perfect stuff.  If you don't have the cleaner, use some dish soap and water.  The soap will soften the soaked in oil and you can rinse it out with water.  Air dry (not pressure air; just let it sit)   See if that helps.  Good luck!

Ran a tank of gas through the Mac 6 today on a maple top with no issues.  Good little saw!

Today my wife wanted to use a chainsaw to cut down a dead apple tree in our yard. Since she is a small woman I figured Power Mac 6, after all it ran OK last time.  It start OK but died after a bit and would only fire if I put gas down the intake.  So I got out my Homlite Super EZ which is a bit much for her and she cut down her first tree using a chainsaw. Vahooo!!  So stuff that should run and won't just ticks me off so my PM 6 will get a complete refurb.  1st question is what are the crankshaft seals PN?  I have a "few" other saws so this one my be a "I'm snowed in with nothing else to do" day project.
