Let me babble on about these 5 cuber piston ported Macs .
I've heard people compare them to an 066 Stihl or a 181/281 Husky .Trust me they aren't . While they have plenty of pulling power they lack the speed but in a given days cutting they can get a lot done .Enough to wear the average guy out I'll tell you that .
They aren't all that heavy ,The suspension system is not as good as others but it's good enough . They aren't that easy to modify because they are a clam shell design .
For what they are and when they were built they can still deliver the goods .It's always been my feelings that if McCulloch had more modernized and done further develpment on this or any other of the ten series they could still be a contender today .That didn't happen though history is what it is .
