Ford 555 tractor.
« on: October 09, 2018, 09:22:06 pm »
So I picked this up about 2 months ago now and have been working on it.    Have not messed with any saws lately because of the new toy.

The steering was messed up so that was one of the first things to get straightened out.    Replaced the pump and steering hydrostatic motor on it.
Steers like a champ now.    Here is a pic.   One of my favorite things about this is the ability to lift what ever I want now.

I have fixed enough problems on it now that I feel comfortable in using it.    Still some things to do to it but nothing that prevents its usage.
I still need to weld a hook onto the backhoe bucket for lifting.
