Husqvarna sells top of the line snowblowers up here.
I got a 8 hp MTD 26" good machine.
My advice is never put a bolt in the auger shaft if you run out of shear pins. I did once and took out the gear box. Gear box retailed almost as much as the whole machine.

Even this does no good when your buried it on other side. Just tired of trying to shovel it out over and over. Was looking  for a quicker way to remove the 3-4' snow ice I was in.  Come along was mostly worthless.

Wish I had that Kubota 4x4 with front end loader that dad has. He bought it last year before I could.

Looks like you didn't get very far along before trouble?

It came from the north. Only has happened maybe 4-5 times since 94. So no snow fence from the north drifting. Guess what will be there from now on. ;)

So I had a 20' wide 3'-4" drift between me and getting to the other side.  Just didnt have enough weight in back or traction on tires either.  I think I had 600-800lbs of weight in back.
