I have ordered seals and bearings and a case gasket from my local saw shop.I tried to find it at ordertree.com like you said but when I clicked on Poulan and Partner nothoing came up? At the shop the crank bearings are $16.25 each
the seals were $6.25 each and I did not get a price  on the case gasket .Do these prices sound right to you? the bearings sounded high to me? But what the $%## do I know.talk to ya soon.

Yes that is dealer prices and ordertree is about the highest on the net JMO. Real close. $15 and $3.50.

But if you notice the crank bearing is a 6202 which can be bought lot cheaper.  ;)  Poulan 365 and Husky 372 take same bearing.  Husky bearing is high too but the poulan one is less then $5 and made in the USA.

wow that was a bunch of work for you thanks. So where do you buy yours? You said the bearings can be bought a lot cheeper where? Next subject Today I worked on a 500 i bought last night the guy fell a tree on it i think. The alumnium handel to the D handel was broken, the I del screw was broken off from the carb ,the plastic shield behind the carb was broken. So this afternoon I went to work on it and got her all fixed up runs great. I noticed somthing ( 1) the case is Black not yellow ,and (2 )  the sproket is a large star shaped one not the small slotted kind i have on all my saws and (3) the chain appears to be maybe a 3/8 ? the drivers say 21 on them wher all mine say 325 ? I have a few other chains I have picked up over the years and they say some other number on thier drivers, If I tell you the number can you fill me in?

is the spur 325 3/8 ? is the bar longer ? 325 3/8 could explain that.

I posted you a pic of a 5000 500 490 590 325 dawg in 5000 sub forum.
