Halftime so I got to be quick.  :D  LOL nope not questioning your state of mind. Sold all my stock of new ones to racers myself. Better to see them in racesaw builds then a stock saw that will get straight gassed by someone.

The other one I have torn down is the one I was going to try that 246 husky piston swap in.  Can I ask where you heard of doing that or did you just try it on your own Art.
I'm going to try the 246 piston in my 5000 if i do the build off over on compititionsaws. ;)

Always thinking outside the box. Needed a piston and had 6 or 7 246 pistons on hand.

Well I guess I did not realize tha I had such a rare commodity here ,Maybe I should go on antiques road show and get me a million.Or maybe I could go a couple of miles down the road and buy a new on from an old partner dealer I have been dealing with.He did not seem to suggest to me it was gonna be a real expencive deal.Coure he may think that I know this is a 100 dollar item? He did not seem to get too nervous when i mentioned I made need a new pistion said he thought he had a bunch still on the partner shelf outback. As far as anyone saying they had a new piston to sell me I dont think I said new ? maybe I did if so I deeeeeeply apologize .I really ment no harm but the offer was mad that " between me and some other peolpe here probably may have what you need to get you going" At least I thought thats what I read but I may be wrong.

They are NLA only NOS left like you say your dealer has on hand. Buy  :P  buy now.

Your area was big Partner country and a lot of my past stuff came from up your way from dealers.
