Partner 5000 plus carb

Would my Husky 55 carb work on my partner 5000. Other than the choke setup it should work?

I never paid attention to a 55 carb and just took my first 55 in trade.

 I do know if you are not worried about a working choke you can bolt on a husky 272 carb HS260 with longer carb bolts installed.

I run a Stihl 026 carb on one 5000 and a Tillotson from a 630 Jon on another one.

Come to think of it I have seen stihl 066 carbs bolted up on 5000 gas saws too and different HL carbs on the 5000 alky saws.
