This 550 has WJ with a governor built into carb. I bypassed it though with a bb.  ;)

My complete gasket kits came with seals in it.  I've bought several over the years and they all did too. I'm down to 1 or 2 and I have a 490 to split to put crank bearings in. But I may never with that saw.  Been stealing from it over time. There is no top end and other misc stuff missing now.

OK what is the difference in the F55 compared to my Partner 550?

I see the Skil 1632 Partner 1632 all say they are a F55 farmer.

Does anyone ever tried a k700 top end on one of those partner chainsaws?  Im curious if it would be as powerful as a p70 or so.

I have both ported and non ported P70 and 7000+, P70 has the T-port the 7000/and plus do not. Plus is harder to start and I find No difference in power. My best one is a low hour P70 with T-port ported, it pulls with anything out there today!
K650/700 cylinder has larger ports and a wider intake track, is the best but NOT THE OPEN PORT Chinese, can't quite get a BOG outta the two I put together????? might be a timing issue but K series flywheels wont fit  chainsaw cases. lost interest in that combo decided to stick with P70's

Side note: my old small cooling fin 65cc Farmer ported (bridged intake/exguast) is just as fast if not faster than my ported P70's, I compared it many times!!!! has alot higher compression ratio and you feel it when you pull it over.

Hey......I know that guy.

I have a pile of 55s and 65s that I'm building a 4 cube out of. I'll be posting here on those builds.

Yes you did. That's one saw I should have hung onto. But......you can't keep them all.

Hmmmmm?? ???

When the P7000+ came out, they said there was a 15% power boost over the P7000, to 3.5 kW....

According to specs it wasn't 15%, but still over 10%, from 3.1 to 3.5 kW.
