« on: April 10, 2014, 12:31:09 am »
I got a partner 950 and cant get it to seal on the intake of the carb side i got new parts on the intake side  5062219-01    5036780-01    5061335-01  these are the only parts that would make it seal i have lost a top end and i believe that was from getting air at the intake is there something i should know on how to get this to seal thanks for your time Gerald

I just worked on a K 950 at work last week and noticed the same problem with it not sealing good between the intake and carb.   I used some Yamabond on the surface and that seemed to work.   I was told the intake was NLA.   This particular saw uses a special bar and chain for cutting concrete.  I have never seen another like it.  The saw also had all three clutch springs broken which I replaced.  The business I work for actually had those in stock.  When done the saw seemed to start, run, and idle ok.
