P41S test cut
« on: October 30, 2013, 04:17:55 pm »
I had finished fixing up a Pioneer P41S a few months ago with a new reed block, crank seals, fuel and il lines and a carb kit but was unable to try it out until today. I did a test cut today. Runs pretty good. Oils like a gusher.

Yep, 65cc. Same chassis as the large P series. 20" bar. It came with a hard nose and Pioneer chain in nice shape but I put a Windsor speed tip on it.
Lots of torque for it's size.

Hard nose bar and Pioneer chain ??? Wow, that puppy was parked for a long time.

Sounds like a nice saw, but could not get any of the pictures to pull up.

I clicked on the picture and it took like a minute and it started playing.

I went back and tried it again and it came up right away and played the video.

Anyways nice job on the saw, sounds like you have it running good.   I noticed the acceleration was good and looked good in the cut.

Nice saw especially having an "s" with an original brake. The oilers on these p series saws are amazing! I have ran a 36" on a 655bp,655& a p52 and had plenty of oil only adjusted at 1/2 to 3/4.....never needed max oiling or the manual on the 2 bigger saws....
