Clutch spring replacement

Clutch spring replacement.  When I was doing the springs my old way I was having a bear of a time with the 1st new one.  Stihl 311 660 type springs.
Then my redneck mind said hey self try this. Easy peasy from there on.

What is some of your tips and tricks you folks use for this?

I will post a pic of what I used and did later.   I was amazed how freaking simple it was.

I use a piston stop to keep the engine from spinning and use a half circle pick to get it started in the hole then push it the rest of the way down.

Still need to get a pic. But I remembered a tool I used to use on car drum brakes for sliding springs into the attachment hole.  Put spring end on it tool tip. Put tip in hole and slide it right down to hook up. Worked great.
