If you ever need a new valve for testers. NAPA etc sometimes has in stock or order a 3 pack http://store.snapon.com/Non-Catalog-Items-3PK-VALVE-CORE-GAS-COMPRESSION-P9761571.aspx

Just about any compression tester with the adapters will work.   Get one that screws in and not one with a rubber tip that has to be held in place.   You may have to pull the rope up to 6 or 7 times to get a good compression reading.

I bought a snap on after 3 of those innova crapped out on me along with the actron. I spent more on those cheap ones than I did the snap on. I would have saved money with a snap on in the beginning.

My Mac Tools I bought in 72-73 still spot on.  Using one out of Echo kit really like it.

I have both the snap on and the Mac tool compression tester.   I have found at work that I have used up to 3 different size adapters.
